To those who are interested in submitting an abstract

Abstract submission: December 7, 2017 to February 12, 2018

We appreciate your interest in presenting a paper at our annual meeting.

In order to present at the meeting, whether it be for a paper, poster, case report, or instruction course, you would need to be a member of JSCRS. If you are invited by JSCRS to present, you are exempted from paying these fees. There are two categories for membership. Ophthalmologists who are part of the Japanese Ophthalmological Society (Category A) would have to pay 15,000 yen as registration fee to join the society. Ophthalmologists who are not a part of the Japanese Ophthalmological Society (Category B) would have to pay an additional 8000yen, thus a total of 23,000 yen.

Although parts of the website is translated into English, the official language of the society is Japanese. You are welcome to present in English; however, there would be no simultaneous Japanese translations. Only invited speakers and the joint symposium with ASCRS and ESCRS will have simultaneous Japanese interpretations.

How to register

Pre-registration: December 7, 2017 to April 13, 2018

Although the society and thus the meeting is in Japanese, information on the venue and overview of the programs will be in Japanese and English.
Only ASCRS ESCRS JSCRS Joint Symposium, Open Forum、lecture by invited oversea speaker will be presented in English with simultaneous Japanese interpretations. Registration fee for non-members is 18,000yen.

Regarding Visa

As JSCRS is a domestic meeting, we do not support the documents needed for visa application entering Japan, unless you are an invited speaker.
